These pans are very heavy-duty stainless steel with a gorgeous patina similar to the All-Clad. They heat evenly and prepare dinner with out grievance. I precisely have made the complete lot from eggs to to casseroles to stir-fries to steak within these and have not burned or ruined a single thing. I will say that the biggest items, when full, are heavy for me however I am reasonably small and not that robust.
